Response to COVID-19

In light of new national restrictions commencing 5th January 2021, I am still able to see people face to face as well as continuing to work on line. Here is a paragraph from the Govt guidance which allows this:
The businesses that can remain open include “dental services, opticians, audiology services, chiropody, chiropractors, osteopaths and other medical or health services, including services relating to mental health.” Under the legal advice we obtained during the November 2020 national lockdown in England, CNHC Registrants in England meet the definition of “other…health services, including services relating to mental health” contained in Section 17(o), Schedule 3A of The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (All Tiers) (England) Regulations 2020. The amended legislation on which Parliament voted today made no changes that section of the Regulations.
The premises are Covid secure.

I will contact you before your appointment to ask if you or anyone you have been in contact with has or is displaying symptoms. If so, we will rearrange the appointment

I will meet you at the door just before your appointment as we are not using a waiting area during this time

I will ask you to wear a face mask whilst moving around the building.

I will ask you to provide your own drinks and a blanket if you like to be cosy

We are able to be seated 2 metres apart

Contact points are thoroughly cleaned between each person and sufficient time is allowed for this

I will ask you to use the track and trace app each time you visit
If you prefer, I am continuing to do sessions online using Zoom. Zoom is a platform where I can guarantee confidentiality just as if you were in the therapy room itself, but this way you can stay in the comfort of your own home. Online sessions are just as effective, I can use all the techniques I usually use and people get the results that they want. Many of the people I have worked with over the past few years, I have never even met in person as geographically this would be impossible, but it has been exciting and fun to work internationally as well as all over the UK.
